Hello and Welcome!

I love this life. My heart is bursting with love and excitement, and photography is one way I share my heart and soul with others.

I believe art changes the way people think and see the world. Through art, we can explore and communicate what we are and who we hope to become.

Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and writer, once said:

“I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides.”

I agree and I believe the same must be true for beauty and love. Whenever and wherever human beings are creating goodness and living in beauty, I want to take sides; I want to celebrate and share the sacred, intricate, intimate and inexplicable moments and relationships we experience on this beautiful planet.

What are your prices?

Individual portrait sessions start at $200.  Family sessions and couple/engagement sessions start at $350.  Weddings start at $2000.

You also take photos of ill or dying people?

Yes. While you might feel uncomfortable with taking images during a difficult time with a loved one, my experience with my own grandmother and working in nursing facilities has showed me that these photographs can be incredibly powerful.

These may be the last moments with a person and they are moments you can never get back. Photographs taken before, during, or after an illness can also be part of the healing process and they last for generations. If you know a family with a sick loved one, this could be a great gift for you to offer them.

You may also want to consider having photos done before or after surgery or chemo.

What does a photo session include?

I am a “flat fee” photographer. I deliver high-resolution images via CD or thumb drive or Dropbox. These files allow you to print your favorite photos at a printer of your choice. I include images sized for the web so that you can e-mail your photos to loved ones and share them on Facebook.

Why don't you share photographs more often?

I am working towards becoming a physician and that takes priority. 😉
