This past weekend I did my first family session since moving to Oakland.

Not quite sure how to get started out here, I called and texted my friend from my CNA training and told her something like: hey, I really need to get back out there doing photography stuff. I miss it and want to put myself out there but I want to make sure I still got it. Are you and your kids up for a photoshoot tomorrow?

And she said yes! The next morning we met at the park and the kids were perfect. Through out the hour we spent together running around the park and playing on the playground, I marveled at the kid’s joy. They didn’t stop smiling!

It was such an honor for me to get to photograph her and her two youngest.
